SYNOPSIS

"Anari Ishq" (also released as Chanti in dubbed versions) is a 1993 Hindi romantic drama starring Venkatesh and Meena. It is a remake of the 1991 Tamil film Chinna Thambi. 

The story follows a simple, naive man named Rama (Chanti) who is hired to protect a wealthy young woman, Nandini. Their relationship evolves into an innocent love that faces violent opposition from her protective brothers.

Synopsis:

The film revolves around Raja Nandini (Meena), a wealthy, sheltered girl living with her three overprotective and violent brothers. Due to an astrologer's prediction that she will marry a man of her own choice, her brothers keep her isolated and confined to their home. 

Rama (Venkatesh), a naive and simple-minded man with a heart of gold, is hired as her caretaker/bodyguard. Nandini, craving freedom, starts engaging with Rama to show her the world outside, eventually falling in love with him. 

The plot intensifies when the brothers discover this romance and attempt to break them apart, often resulting in violence against Rama. To protect Rama from her brothers' fury, Nandini convinces him to marry her, which Rama does without understanding the sanctity of the act. The story follows their struggles to be together despite the intense opposition from her family.
