SYNOPSIS

Papi Gudia (1996) is a Bollywood horror-thriller directed by Lawrence D'Souza, starring Karisma Kapoor and Shakti Kapoor. It is an unofficial remake of the 1988 American horror film Child's Play.

The plot follows an evil black magic practitioner who transfers his soul into a doll to continue a killing spree.

Synopsis 
A notorious criminal and black magic practitioner, Charandas (Shakti Kapoor), is cornered by the police and runs into a toy store. Before succumbing to his injuries, he uses voodoo magic to transfer his soul into a doll. The doll, named Channi, is bought by a little boy named Raju (Master Amar), whose elder sister Karisma (Karisma Kapoor) is a stage dancer. The demonic doll comes to life, goes on a murder spree, and frames the innocent boy for its crimes, leaving Karisma and Inspector Vijay Saxena to uncover the truth.
