The film's synopsis is as follows:

The Beginning: Inspector Arjun Singh is transferred from Delhi to Bombay (now Mumbai). He lives with his wife Anita and a young son, Munna. He also has a younger college-going brother, Ajit, with whom Arjun is often frustrated because Ajit spends most of his time singing, dancing, and hanging out with girls.

The Crime Spree: A series of sexual assaults and murders of young women wearing bikinis begins in the city. Inspector Arjun Singh is given the responsibility of investigating this high-profile and sensitive case.

Investigation and Suspicion: Arjun's investigation leads him to a wealthy suspect. However, the case takes a new turn when the suspect's daughter is also subjected to a similar crime and murdered. The police department finds evidence that could implicate an unexpected suspect in the case—none other than Arjun's own brother, Ajit.

The Main Conflict: The story primarily focuses on the conflict faced by a conscientious police officer as he tries to balance his personal relationships with his duty, especially when his own brother becomes the prime suspect in a heinous crime.
