SYNOPSIS

Gambler is a 1995 Indian Hindi-language Thriller film directed by Dayal Nihalani, which is a remake of the Malayalam film Aanaval Mothiram.

Plot: Police Inspector Dayashanker Pandey is a slacker who is satisfied with a desk job and spinning tall tales. He does not want to endanger his life. Every time he goes on duty outdoors, he somehow captures some crooks or some smuggled items or drugs, thus fate has other plans for him. To his dismay, he thereby becomes the pride of his division. Dayashanker is aware that receiving public kudos may place him in the black books of numerous criminal gangsters, shattering his cozy and laid-back lifestyle.
