He is wrongfully imprisoned for 24 years. Before going to jail, he leaves his infant son, Vijay, with his best friend Mahesh (Anupam Kher), requesting that Mahesh raise him to be a criminal to help execute his ultimate vengeance.
Decades later, David is released and immediately plots the assassination of the three men who framed him. However, he discovers that Mahesh raised Vijay to be an honest, rule-abiding police officer instead.
