- Remake: The film is a remake of the 1978 Kannada movie Thayige Thakka Maga.
- Sunny Deol's Cameo: Before his official debut in Betaab, Sunny Deol appeared as a stand-in for his father, Dharmendra, performing one-hand push-ups during the title song.
- Legacy: Footage from this film was later used in the 2007 movie Apne, which also featured Dharmendra as a retired boxer.
