SYNOPSIS

Sansar (1987) is a classic Hindi-language family drama film directed by T. Rama Rao. A remake of the hit Tamil film Samsaram Adhu Minsaram, the movie focuses on middle-class family values, domestic conflicts, and the sacrifices required to keep loved ones united.

Synopsis
Din Dayal Sharma, a middle-class head clerk, lives with his wife and children. Conflict strikes when his daughter Rajni rebels against an arranged marriage to marry a Christian man named Peter. Following this, his son Shiva marries into a wealthy and overbearing family, causing further tension.

Amidst these growing fractures and familial disagreements, Din Dayal and his eldest son Vijay have a massive fallout, leading to the partition of the household into two strictly divided halves. Amidst the chaos and the breaking apart of the Sansar (world), Vijay's wife Uma takes it upon herself to reconcile the estranged family members. She devises a clever, ulterior plan to bring everyone back together and restore harmony to the home.
