SYNOPSIS

Khoon Bhari Maang is a 1988 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film directed and produced by Rakesh Roshan. It is a remake of the Australian mini-series Return to Eden (1983) and is widely remembered for Rekha's powerful performance as a woman seeking revenge.

Plot Summary
The story follows Aarti (Rekha), a wealthy but shy widow with two children. Her uncle schemes to steal her fortune by introducing his nephew, Sanjay (Kabir Bedi), who charms Aarti into marriage. On their honeymoon, Sanjay attempts to kill her by throwing her into a crocodile-infested lake. 

Miraculously surviving but left with a scarred face, Aarti undergoes plastic surgery and transforms herself into a sophisticated model named Jyoti. She then returns to systematically destroy those who betrayed her. 

Music: Composed by Rajesh Roshan, featuring popular songs like "Hanste Hanste Kat Jaye Raste".
Accolades: Rekha won the Filmfare Best Actress Award for her role in this film.
