Ahead of 'The Great Indian Kapil Show' premiere on Netflix, Sunil Grover has finally broken his silence about his fight with Kapil Sharma, which happened six years ago. Sunil Grover, who is winning praise for his work in the Hindi web series 'Sunflower', joked that his fight with Kapil Sharma was a "publicity stunt" they did for Netflix, long before the streaming giant set foot in India. For the unversed, Sunil Grover and Kapil Sharma are combining forces for the Netflix comedy show 'The Great Indian Kapil Show', which will start streaming on Netflix from March 30.
“We were seated on the flight and we learnt that Netflix was coming to India. So, kuch aisa ho ke (acha) publicity stunt ho,” News18 quoted Sunil as saying.
The 'Jawan' actor also joked that the streamer had called him and Kapil to ask what could be done and thus, this idea came to their mind.
For the unversed, Sunil Grover became the talk of the town after playing popular fictional characters Gutthi and Dr Mashoor Gulati on 'The Kapil Sharma Show'.
