'Mirzapur S3' Teaser: Ali Fazal's Guddu Bhaiya Goes All Out To Snatch Kaleen Bhaiya's Throne

The wait is finally over! The third season of uber-popular show 'Mirzapur' will be releasing on July 5, 2024.

The wait is finally over! Excel Entertainment and Prime Video have finally unveiled the release date of the upcoming third season of the uber-popular Hindi web series 'Mirzapur'. The third season will be premiering on July 5, 2024. In the latest entertainment news, the makers unveiled the release date, and along with it, they also shared a small teaser, giving insights into what the new season will offer. The 1-minute-and-39-second-long teaser introduces us to every character such as Guddu Bhaiya (Ali Fazal), Kaleen Bhaiya (Pankaj Tripathi), and Golu (Shweta Tripathi). We are also shown glimpses of Rasika Dugal and Vijay Varma's characters as well. 

The new season promises a lot of violence, and the teaser also shows some gory scenes, with a lot of bloodshed. 

"Jungle mein bhaukaal machne wala hai," wrote the official handle of Prime Video India on X (formerly Twitter).

Prime Video also shared a poster of 'Mirzapur Season 3' on X, and wrote, "Kar diye prabandh #MS3W ka. Date note kar lijiye."

For the unversed, 'Mirzapur' has been created by Karan Anshuman and Puneet Krishna. The show is a crime thriller based on power, revenge, ambition and politics. 

The third season has been written by Apurva Dhar Badgaiyann, Avinash Singh Tomar, Avinash Singh and Vijay Narayan Verma.

“With Season 3, the stakes have gone notches higher and the canvas has become bigger,” Prime Video said in a statement, as per Variety. 

“However, the rules remain the same while all eyes are on the coveted throne in the fictional world of Mirzapur. The big question prevails whether the throne of Mirzapur will be earned or snatched in a battle of power and dominance where trust is a luxury that no one can afford," the statement added. 

Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Media and Entertainment, the 10-episode third season is directed by Gurmmeet Singh and Anand Iyer. 

The ensemble cast includes Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Shweta Tripathi Sharma, Rasika Dugal, Vijay Varma, Isha Talwar, Anjumm Shharma, Priyanshu Painyuli, Harshita Shekhar Gaur, Rajesh Tailang, Sheeba Chadha, Meghna Malik and Manu Rishi Chadha.
