Earlier, Prime Video India had teased the release date of the third season. The handle posted an animated poster, asking the fans to guess the date of the third season.
In the poster, we can spot seven carpets, and five guns, which loosely means that the third season will be premiering on July 5, 2024.

For the unversed, 'Mirzapur' first premiered in 2018', and the second season premiered in 2020. The makers have been teasing a third season ever since then.
Talking about 'Mirzapur', the web series remains one of the most popular Hindi shows ever.
It was in December 2022, Ali Fazal announced the shooting wrap for the third season. Ali Fazal, who plays Guddu in 'Mirzapur', had also opened up about his "biggest insecurity" before he signed up to be a part of the show.
In a chat with Jist, Ali said, "For Guddu, I had to almost fight with my director at the time that I don’t see him having hair.” The actor also shared that since he was required to bulk up for the role, he did not take any protein shakes or any other additives.
“My most boring time in my life was working out for Mirzapur. I couldn’t sleep. We would work out for three hours every day and while doing that, you have to maintain your peace because we are creators. I refused using wrong means,” he said.
