As per the makers, the recently-released third season has notched up views across 98 per cent of India's pin codes on the launch weekend, as per the streamer. As per Deadline, the makers have also confirmed the fourth season of 'Mirzapur'. “The third season of the incredibly popular Mirzapur franchise has become the most-watched show on Prime Video India on its launch weekend, breaking all previous records, including those set by Season 2,” said Nikhil Madhok, Prime Video’s Head of India Originals.
“This success highlights the strong connection that audiences have with the show’s relatable characters, making it a significant part of popular culture and everyday conversation," he added.

The series has been produced by Excel Media and Entertainment and created by Karan Anshuman. The third season has been directed by Gurmmeet Singh and Anand Iyer.
