Uorfi Javed Says She “Doesn’t Stand A Chance In Bollywood”, Reveals How A Leading Actress Was Rude To Her
Uorfi Javed recently said that she does not stand a chance in Bollywood and also revealed how a leading actress was rude to her.
Social media sensation Uorfi Javed is known for her bizarre sartorial choices. Each time the ‘Bigg Boss OTT’ star steps out, she makes headlines for her unconventional outfits. The TV actress is quite friendly with the paparazzi and often gets clicked for her out-of-the box ensembles. Despite all the criticism she gets, Uorfi Javed continues experimenting with her clothing pieces. Uorfi’s posts also often end up creating headlines. But even with all the fame she has earned, Uorfi Javed thinks she doesn’t stand a chance in Bollywood.
On Ranveer Allahbadia’s podcast, Uorfi Javed recently revealed that a leading Bollywood actress was rude to her at an event. Uorfi Javed said that the actress’ reaction to her compliment made her feel “small” and “embarrassed”.
On the podcast, Uorfi opened up about how she complimented a Bollywood actress. The influencer said that she engaged in a conversation with the actress, where she spoke about Diet Sabya, an Instagram influencer. However, the actress did not seem to care about what Uorfi was saying.
Uorfi Javed said, “There were a lot of people and everyone noticed. I felt very small and embarrassed.” She then added, “I don’t stand a chance in Bollywood. People here don’t accept me.”
A while ago, she had also revealed that she was apparently “uninvited” from an event as she did not feature on Madhuri Dixit Nene’s guest list, which she thought was a “weird” reason to not let her be a part of the function.
During her podcast appearance, Uorfi Javed also opened up about Ranbir Kapoor and said that his comments about her outfit choices did not affect her.
She said, “When Ranbir spoke about me, he spoke very normally. It was his personal opinion. He did not say it in a demeaning way. So I did not feel bad at all. He is a very good actor.”
For the unversed, Ranbir Kapoor had called Uorfi Javed’s outfit choices in “bad taste”. In a conversation with Kareena Kapoor Khan for her show ‘What Women Want’, Ranbir Kapoor had said, “I am not a big fan of this kind of fashion.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Uorfi Javed has appeared in several TV shows including ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ and ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’.
She rose to fame after participating in ‘Bigg Boss OTT’. Recently, Uorfi Javed appeared as a Mischief Maker in the MTV India dating reality show ‘Splitsvilla 14’.
She was also approached for Rohit Shetty-hosted ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 13’. However, she has rejected the stunt-based reality show.
