Summer is officially here, which means drinking icy-cool beverages, chilling by the pool, gorging on mouth-watering mangoes, and of course how can we forget our favourite ice creams. But as the temperatures climb and summer settles in, the relentless heat becomes more than just a discomfort. It becomes a battle for comfort and cost. Across the globe, soaring temperatures drive an increased reliance on air conditioners, leading to skyrocketing electricity bills. And we are not alone! Looks like Indian actress Tina Datta, who became a household name after starring in the Colors TV show ‘Uttaran’, is facing a similar issue.

She often shares glimpses from her personal and professional life. Recently, she shared a hilarious video of herself dealing with the summer heat, which is all things relatable.

In the video, Tina Datta can be seen sitting on her couch and using her phone when someone comes and gives her the electricity bill.

Her expressions are on point when she takes a look at her electricity bill. The text on the video reads, “Electricity bills during summer.”

And her choice of music is hilarious as ‘Locha-E-Ulfat’ from Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor’s ‘2 States’ plays in the background of the video.

Soon after Tina Datta shared the video on Instagram, several social media users reacted to it.

One social media user said, “Very true. This time bill is 3 times more.”

Another one commented, “True that, Delhi me toh aur bhi jyada Garmi hai.”

A third user said, “Oh dear Tinzim, the electricity bill seems to be the biggest problem right now.”

“Sahi baat hai,” another comment read.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Tina Datta won hearts with her acting chops in the 2023 Sony TV show ‘Hum Rahe Na Rahe Hum’ co-starring Jay Bhanushali.

She began her career as a child artist in a Bengali tv show called ‘Sister Nivedita’ at the age of five. Tina made her film debut the next year in the Bengali movie ‘Pita Maata Santan’.

She has been part of several other Bengali and Hindi films like ‘Chokher Bali’, ‘Chirodini Tumi Je Amar’, and ‘Parineeta’, where she played the younger version of Vidya Balan.

Tina Datta first tasted success with her role of Iccha in ‘Uttaran’, which became one of the longest-running television shows. She also participated in the stunt-based reality TV show ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 7’, hosted by Rohit Shetty.
