Indian actress Avika Gor, who shot to fame with her role in the show ‘Balika Vadhu’, has officially tied the knot with her long-time partner Milind Chandwani. The couple, who are currently seen together on the reality show ‘Pati, Patni Aur Panga’, chose to make their wedding part of the show itself. Every major ceremony – from haldi and mehendi to the baraat and pheras – unfolded on set, making it a one-of-a-kind televised celebration.

The wedding took place on Tuesday as per Hindu rituals. Milind’s baraat arrived in the morning, followed by the pheras in the afternoon. Several of their co-contestants – including Hina Khan, Isha Malviya, Rubina Dilaik, and Munawar Faruqui – joined the festivities, adding star power to the joyous occasion.

Milind made an unconventional yet endearing entry for his wedding, arriving on a scooter while dancing in excitement. Avika looked every inch the traditional bride in a deep red and gold lehenga, accessorised with heavy emerald jewellery. Milind complemented her in a peach and gold sherwani with a turban. The newlyweds were all smiles as they danced together and posed for the paparazzi after the ceremony.

The haldi and mehendi ceremonies had also been celebrated earlier on the show’s sets, keeping the entire journey of their union closely tied to ‘Pati, Patni Aur Panga’. Ahead of their big day, the couple was spotted at the Siddhivinayak temple seeking blessings.

Before participating in ‘Pati, Patni, Aur Panga’, Avika and Milind had gotten engaged in the presence of close family and friends.

In past interviews, Avika has been candid about their love story. She once revealed that Milind had initially “friend-zoned” her when they first met. Over time, their bond deepened, and the two navigated a long-distance relationship, which many advised against. Avika recalled that while people around them said it wasn’t practical, they managed it effortlessly.

Speaking about their wedding journey on the show, Avika had admitted that the couple felt both “excited and nervous.” Avika had told Hindustan Times, “We are excited but also very nervous. The big day will come very soon.”

“There are days when I wake up and remind myself that it’s real. I feel very lucky and blessed to have found a partner who supports me, understands me, and always pushes me to grow in life. I’ve been in the public eye since 2008, and the love and blessings I’ve received from people have been overwhelming. I wanted my audience, who have been such an important part of my journey, to also be a part of this special moment, and in some way, I manifested this,” she had further said.
