Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and choreographer-actress Dhanashree Verma have been granted a divorce by the Bombay High Court. The proceedings were formalised on Thursday evening. After the court delivered its final decision, Yuzvendra Chahal was seen leaving the premises. However, it was his T-shirt that caught attention and sparked conversations on social media. He was spotted wearing a black T-shirt emblazoned with the words, "Be your own sugar daddy." As Yuzvendra Chahal exited the court, paparazzi were heard calling out his name and asking for a reaction.
The Indian spinner, however, did not respond and walked straight ahead. Several videos of Yuzvendra Chahal have now surfaced online.

Soon after Viral Bhayani shared a video of the Indian cricketer, several social media users reacted to it. One user wrote, “He literally wore tshirt saying, 'Be your own Sugar Daddy’.”
Another user wrote, “The word on his T shirt says all.”
A third one commented, “Uski life me already problem h or tum or dimg khao uska.”
One user added, “Bro spoke his mind from the tshirt.”
Earlier, it was reported that Yuzvendra Chahal paid Dhanashree Verma Rs 4.35 crore in alimony. The divorce case was expedited due to a mutual consent petition, which waived the mandatory six-month cooling-off period.
According to Hindustan Times, Justice Madhav Jamdar instructed the Bandra Family Court to decide the couple’s petition by March 20, as Yuzvendra Chahal would be unavailable after March 21 due to his commitments with the Punjab Kings (PBKS) for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) season.
IPL 2025 is set to begin on March 22, with the opening match between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). Punjab Kings will play their first match on March 25 against Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Speaking of Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree, the duo got married in December 2020. As per their petition, they got separated in June 2022. On February 5, 2025, Chahal and Dhanashree filed a joint petition before the family court asking for divorce by a mutual consent.
