Pawan Kalyan Gifts Rs 3 Cr Land Rover Defender To ‘They Call Him OG’ Director. See Pics
After the massive success of ‘They Call Him OG’, Pawan Kalyan gifted director Sujeeth a swanky new Land Rover.
From a childhood fan to a record-breaking collaborator, director Sujeeth is living every fanboy’s dream. Following the massive global success of their latest collaboration, ‘They Call Him OG’, actor and Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Pawan Kalyan, has gifted the filmmaker a brand-new Land Rover Defender as a token of his appreciation. On Tuesday, Sujeeth took to social media to share his excitement, posting a series of photos with the ‘Power Star’.
The images captured a heart-warming moment where Pawan Kalyan personally opened the car door for Sujeeth and posed for a celebratory handshake in front of the sleek black SUV.
“Best gift ever. Overwhelmed and grateful beyond words. The love and encouragement from my dearest OG, Kalyan garu, means everything to me. From being a childhood fan to this special moment. Forever indebted,” Sujeeth wrote alongside the pictures.

cThe gift comes on the heels of a historic run for ‘They Call Him OG’. Produced by DVV Danayya and Kalyan Dasari (the team behind ‘RRR’), the film was touted as one of the biggest cinematic events of 2025. Despite receiving mixed reviews from critics, the film resonated deeply with the audience, grossing over Rs 300 crore worldwide – making it the highest-grossing film of Pawan Kalyan’s career.
The film, which also stars Emraan Hashmi, Priyanka Arul Mohan, Prakash Raj, and Sriya Reddy, faced a year-long delay. Originally slated for September 2024, it finally hit screens on September 25 this year.
2025 has been a rollercoaster year for the actor-politician. After focusing on the Andhra Pradesh elections – where his Jana Sena Party saw victory alongside the TDP and BJP – Pawan returned to finish his pending film commitments.
The year started on a quieter note with the July release of the big-budget period drama ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu’. While it crossed Rs 116 crore, it received a lukewarm response. However, ‘They Call Him OG’ quickly turned the tide, cementing Pawan Kalyan’s “OG” status in the industry.
For the unversed, the Land Rover Defender is one of the most coveted luxury SUVs in India. While the base price starts around Rs 98 lakh, high-end variants and customizations (including body styles like the 90, 110, or 130 and trims like the HSE or OCTA) can drive the on-road price in cities like Hyderabad up to Rs 3.18 crore.
Meanwhile, fans won't have to wait too long for more action. Following the success of ‘They Call Him OG’, Pawan Kalyan is set to star in Harish Shankar’s ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’, which is currently scheduled for a 2026 release.
