Nidhhi Agerwal was left visibly shaken after being mobbed by an unruly crowd during a promotional event for ‘The Raja Saab’ in Hyderabad.
What was meant to be a celebratory evening for the team of ‘The Raja Saab’ turned into a nightmare for actress Nidhhi Agerwal. On Wednesday evening, a massive promotional event at Lulu Mall, Hyderabad, descended into chaos as the actress was mobbed and physically harassed by an uncontrolled crowd. The event was organised to launch the song ‘Sahana Sahana’ from the highly anticipated Prabhas-starrer. While the turnout was massive – featuring Director Maruthi and Nidhhi Agerwal – the security measures proved insufficient for the thousands of fans in attendance.
As the event concluded, the situation turned ugly. While Nidhhi attempted to exit the venue and reach her car, several individuals jostled to get uncomfortably close, resulting in the actress being manhandled and pushed despite being escorted by her security team.
Viral videos of the incident showed a visibly distressed Nidhhi struggling through a sea of people. After considerable difficulty reaching her vehicle, the actress appeared visibly shaken and upset. According to social media reports, she was overheard saying, "What the hell was that?" immediately after securing herself inside the car.

The footage has sparked a massive wave of anger online, with netizens slamming both the “irresponsible” behaviour of the crowd and the lack of proper planning by the organisers.
Many users called out the lack of basic respect for personal boundaries, with one tweet describing the crowd as “vultures disguised as fans”.
Some users pointed the finger at the production team, noting that hosting a big-budget movie event in the relatively small lobby of Lulu Mall – a high-traffic area was a recipe for disaster. One critic noted, “Worst management. Everyone knows how many hostels are around Lulu Mall.”
Despite the unfortunate incident, buzz for the film remains at an all-time high. Directed by Maruthi, ‘The Raja Saab’ marks Prabhas’s first major foray into the horror comedy genre. The film features a star-studded lineup including Sanjay Dutt, Nidhhi Agerwal, Malavika Mohanan, and Riddhi Kumar.
The trailer has already teased a “trance-like” performance from Prabhas as he faces supernatural forces. After several delays since filming began in 2022, the movie is officially set for a massive Sankranthi release on January 9, 2026.
