Actors Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala got engaged on Thursday. In the latest entertainment news, Naga Chaitanya's father Nagarjuna confirmed that the duo have gotten engaged, and he also shared pictures from the engagement ceremony. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Nagarjuna wrote, "We are delighted to announce the engagement of our son, Naga Chaitanya, to Sobhita Dhulipala, which took place this morning at 9:42 a.m.!! We are overjoyed to welcome her into our family. Congratulations to the happy couple! Wishing them a lifetime of love and happiness. God bless!"

Earlier, a report in Hindustan Times had revealed some exclusive details about the engagement ceremony."Yes, Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala are getting engaged on Thursday evening. The ceremony will be a very private and intimate one and will take place at Nagarjuna’s home in the evening," Hindustan Times quoted a source as saying.
"Nagarjuna is likely to be the one who will share the news first on social media," the source added.
For the unversed, Nagarjuna and his family stay in a luxurious home in the upscale location of Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad.
Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala have been dating for the past few years.
Earlier, Naga Chaitanya was married to actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The couple had parted ways in October 2021.
Samantha and Naga had gotten married in 2017. The duo stayed together for four years, before parting ways.
Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita started dating in 2022 and their rumoured relationship gathered steam after fans spotted the duo at Chef Surender Mohan’s famous London restaurant.
Some pics emerged on social media of the couple and the snapshots showed Naga and Sobhita at a wine-tasting event in Europe.
Speaking of Sobhita Dhulipala, the actress was last seen in Dev Patel's Hollywood film 'Monkey Man.
