Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya are celebrating their first wedding anniversary.

It feels like just yesterday that the internet was flooded with the rich, traditional hues of Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala’s wedding at Annapurna Studios. Today, December 4, marks exactly one year since the couple tied the knot in a traditional Telugu ceremony, and to celebrate the milestone, Sobhita has treated fans to a deeply personal, “trippy” glimpses into their big day. Taking to Instagram, the ‘Made in Heaven’ actress shared a beautiful wedding video.

Check out the video here:

Moving away from the standard montage, Sobhita accompanied the visuals with a caption that read like poetry. "The wind always blows homewards," she wrote. "Back in the Deccan and one trippy trip round the Sun with the man I call husband, I feel anew. As though purified by fire. One year as Mrs!"

The video, beautifully shot by ‘House On The Clouds’, was less of a highlight reel and more of an emotional time capsule. It opened with candid, unseen moments from their nuptials – from the joyous chaos of the Haldi ceremony to the solemnity of the Jeelakarra Bellam ritual. Fans were treated to gorgeous shots of Sobhita blushing as Chaitanya tied the thali (mangalsutra) and the playful talambralu ceremony where the couple showered each other with rice and flowers.

However, it was the voiceover that truly tugged at the heartstrings. Sobhita, known for her articulate nature, offered a philosophical take on marriage in the background audio. “I don’t know if I believe that a person is incomplete and somebody else comes in and fills that void,” she mused in the clip. “I think we are complete on our own. And yet, in his absence, I would not be full,” she added.

Naga Chaitanya, usually the more reserved of the two, matched her sentiment with equal vulnerability. The video cut to audio of the actor saying, “The thought of her when I wake up and when I go to sleep… the thought of her, knowing that she’s in my life is such a comforting feeling. It gives me the feeling that I can conquer anything with her next to me.”

The actor also took to the comments section of the post to reaffirm his love, writing, “Blessed to be a part of your journey my love (red heart emoji) happy anniversary.”

The couple, who dated for two years before their wedding on December 4, 2024, have often spoken about how their differences strengthen their bond. In an interview with Hindustan Times shortly after their wedding, Naga Chaitanya described Sobhita as his “sounding board,” highlighting their contrasting worldviews.

“Sobhita has such a different perspective,” Chaitanya had shared. “I have been conditioned to think through the commercial lens and theatrical standpoint. She has been inclined towards more arthouse and indie. I don’t think much like her, but I enjoy the different take she brings,” she added.

Interestingly, Naga Chaitanya’s first wedding anniversary falls just days after his ex-wife, actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu, began a new chapter of her own.

Naga Chaitanya and Samantha were married from 2017 to 2022. Earlier this week, Samantha tied the knot with filmmaker Raj Nidimoru on December 1, 2025. The intimate, yogic ceremony took place at the Isha Foundation, marking a fresh start for the ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’ actress just as Chaitanya and Sobhita celebrated their first year of marital bliss.
