The makers had earlier announced that the upcoming Telugu film will be released in cinemas on August 15, 2024. Over the past few days, the rumours mills have been rife that 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' is going to be postponed since the shooting for the film is still ongoing. However, in the latest entertainment news, the latest post on the official handle of 'Pushpa' has sent the internet into a meltdown.
Sharing the update that 'Pushpa 2' track 'The Couple Song' is trending at the No.1 spot on YouTube Music, the makers shared a poster, on which the release date of the film is mentioned as August 15, 2024.

The makers have not shared any update regarding the postponement, and if the movie indeed arrives on August 15, then there would be a four-way box office clash.
Yes, you read that right. 'Pushpa 2' would be going up against Hindi films 'Stree 2', 'Khel Khel Mein', and 'Vedaa'.
On Friday morning, it was announced that Pankaj Tripathi, Shraddha Kapoor, and Rajkummar Rao-starrer 'Stree 2' will be releasing in cinemas on August 15, 2024.
Talking about 'Khel Khel Mein', which has been written by directed by Mudassar Aziz, the film is reportedly a story of friends who meet each other after a long time and find themselves in hilarious chaos. It stars Akshay Kumar Taapsee Pannu, Fardeen Khan, Vaani Kapoor, Amy Virk, Aditya Seal, and Pragya Jaiswal.
Meanwhile, ‘Vedaa’ is directed by Nikkhil Advani and marks his fifth collaboration with John Abraham after ‘Salaam-E-Ishq’, ‘Batla House’, ‘Satyameva Jayate’, and ‘Satyameva Jayate 2’.
The action thriller also features Sharvari Wagh, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Abhishek Banerjee in key roles.
