Watch: Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor Turn Alia Bhatt’s Kitchen Into Battleground In New Ad
Ranbir Kapoor and Shah Rukh Khan’s dramatic face-off in Alia Bhatt’s kitchen turned a steel ad into a full-blown Bollywood spectacle, leaving the internet in splits.
Superstar Shah Rukh Khan has joined forces with Bollywood power couple Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor – not for a film, but for a high-voltage advertisement that felt nothing short of a cinematic spectacle. The trio revived their much-loved on-screen personas and dropped them into a dramatic Bollywood multiverse, instantly sending fans into a frenzy.
Check out the fun advertisement here:
In the ad, Shah Rukh slipped back into his ‘Jawan’ avatar as Vikram Rathore, complete with his signature grey hair and swagger. Ranbir Kapoor channelled his ‘Brahmastra’ energy, while Alia Bhatt reprised her spirited role as Rani from ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’. The three came together for a commercial for Rungta Steels, turning what could have been a routine brand film into a full-blown entertainer.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, the advertisement opened on a dramatic note with Ranbir landing a punch on Shah Rukh’s face. He taunted him with, “Sar bachaake, Vikram Rathore. Kahin phir se na bhool jaao aap kaun ho,” teasing SRK’s Jawan persona. Shah Rukh quickly retaliated with a witty dig at Ranbir’s fiery agni-astra, and the two launched into an exaggerated, action-packed face-off.
The chaos was short-lived as Alia’s Rani stepped in, firmly stopping the two from wrecking her kitchen. In a playful twist, the ad wrapped up with Shah Rukh and Ranbir asking Alia where they should continue their duel. Staying true to her character, Rani pointed them towards a pillar – one that’s strong, durable, and impossible to break.
The star-studded collaboration has set social media, especially Reddit, abuzz. Many users have praised the ad for being more entertaining than several recent theatrical releases, while others were left stunned by what they assume must be a massive budget.
“Wth is the budget for these ads,” one comment read, while another joked, “That’s steel money.”
“Alia and RK must have done this ad to get discount on steel for their naya makaan,” one user quipped.
“How much budget they have for these marketing clips,” another wondered.
Others were equally amused and impressed. “Rungta steel, show me your finances,” one wrote, while another asked, “Who buys steel rods by looking at these ads.”
One user praised the action, saying, “How in the world is this ad doing a more convincing action bit with SRK Ranbir than most movies would do. The punches feel convincing till they turn it comical.” Another added, “Production quality better than movies.”
Fans didn’t stop there. “When ads are more fun than movies… can I get a movie with these three? And I don’t mean Brahmastra 2,” one wrote, while another simply called it a “treat of an ad.” Several agreed that “the ads featuring this trio keep getting better and better.”
Meanwhile, on the film front, Shah Rukh Khan will next be seen in ‘King’. The makers unveiled the much-awaited first look of the film on his birthday last month. Backed by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures, the Siddharth Anand-directed film is slated for a 2026 release.
Alia Bhatt will next star in ‘Alpha’, a high-octane action thriller directed by Shiv Rawail, where she plays a commanding officer in an elite all-women combat unit alongside Sharvari Wagh. She will also be seen with Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming period romantic drama, ‘Love & War’.
