For the unversed, the latest Tom Cruise movie would be the seventh film in the 'Mission Impossible' series.

The official synopsis of the movie states: "In Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his IMF team embark on their most dangerous mission yet: To track down a terrifying new weapon that threatens all of humanity before it falls into the wrong hands. With control of the future and the fate of the world at stake, and dark forces from Ethan's past closing in, a deadly race around the globe begins."

Christopher McQuarrie is directing 'Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One'. For the unversed, the same director had previously helmed Rogue Nation and Fallout movies in the series.
'Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One' will be hitting the cinemas on July 12 this year.
'Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two' was shot simultaneously and it will be releasing in the theatres in 2024.
