Suriya's upcoming pan-India movie 'Kanguva' is one of the most-awaited projects of 2024, and fans cannot wait for the film to release in cinemas on October 10. In the latest entertainment news, the makers on Monday afternoon unveiled the official trailer for the film, and going by the clip, the Tamil movie promises to be a thrilling ride. For the unversed, 'Kanguva' also marks the Tamil debut of Bollywood actors Disha Patani and Bobby Deol.
In 'Kanguva', Suriya is playing the role of a warrior of a clan. For the unversed, 'Kanguva' means "fire" in Tamil. The trailer promises a wild tale that plays across two timelines.
In the trailer, we can also see Suriya and Bobby Deol as two leaders of warring tribes, and how the former reacts to destruction caused by the latter.
The rousing score by Devi Sri Prasad adds to the vibe of the trailer filled with elements of nature and vignettes of adventure. For the unversed, Bobby Deol is playing the role of main antagonist in 'Kanguva'.

For the uninitiated, the events in 'Kanguva' happen across two timelines -- a period setting and the present.
As per several reports, 'Kanguva' has been made on a budget of more than Rs 350 crore, and it is expected to be Tamil cinema's big pan-Indian project.
Coming back to 'Kanguva', the film stars Suriya in a double role and Bobby Deol is playing the role of the main antagonist named Udhiran.
The teaser for Kanguva was unveiled earlier this year and it showcased high-octane action sequences, including battle scenes.
The film will mark the Tamil debut of Disha Patani. The epic action-thriller also stars Natarajan Subramaniam, Jagapathi Babu, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, Anandaraj, Ravi Raghavendra, KS Ravikumar, and BS Avinash in pivotal characters.
'Kanguva' will be having a worldwide theatrical release in 3D and IMAX formats.
