The makers of the highly anticipated sequel ‘Jailer 2’ have just dropped its latest musical offering, and it is a massive visual spectacle. Released on Wednesday evening, ‘Bindaas’ is the fourth track to emerge from the Nelson Dilipkumar directorial. Bringing immense star power and vibrant energy to the screen, this special dance number features the sensational Nora Fatehi, setting a festive and carnival-like tone that is sure to captivate audiences.
The music video opened with a sweeping shot of a majestic, palatial mansion adorned with elaborate decorations, brightly lit chandeliers, and raining confetti. Presented by Sun Pictures and Kalanithi Maran, the production value of the song is unmistakably grand. Nora Fatehi immediately stole the spotlight, making a dazzling entrance dressed in a stunning gold fringed outfit.

She delivered a high-octane performance surrounded by an army of background dancers, many of whom were wearing colourful masquerade masks. The choreography, executed by Jani, added a vibrant and rhythmic flair to the entire sequence.
Adding to the visual diversity of the video, a group of children dressed in matching pink suits and hats flawlessly executed the dance moves alongside Nora. Amidst this lively celebration, superstar Rajinikanth made a brief but impactful cameo. He was seen sitting calmly in a chair, effortlessly exuding his signature aura while the young dancers in pink suits performed enthusiastically around him.
Composed by the acclaimed Anirudh Ravichander, the track is a blend of Tamil and Hindi elements. While the official on-screen video credits list Anirudh Ravichander and Madhubanthi Bagchi as the singers with lyrics by Ritesh G Rao, the makers have undoubtedly delivered a catchy, foot-tapping anthem that aligns perfectly with the massive scale of the film.
Despite the high-energy visuals, the release of ‘Bindaas’ has sparked a wave of debate online. This marks the second dance number in ‘Jailer 2’, following the track ‘Ala Bolelo’ which featured Shamna Kasim, also known as Poorna. The internet wasn't entirely impressed by the inclusion of multiple dance numbers in a single film. One user voiced their disappointment on X (formerly Twitter), stating, "How bad and stupidly our Tamil cinema has become... We don't need Rajini sir to act in these movie". Another commented, “No item song no party for superstar”. Some fans even questioned the creative choice, asking what happened to subtlety in Tamil cinema and criticising the continued portrayal of women as objects.
However, the song also found its fair share of defenders who were completely mesmerised by Nora's flawless dancing skills. Praising the track's infectious energy, one fan confidently declared, "Bindaas >>> Kaavaala, Monica. Peak Song daa".
‘Jailer 2’ is the direct sequel to the 2023 blockbuster hit ‘Jailer’. Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, the film brings back familiar faces including Rajinikanth, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Mirnaa, and Rithvik. The star-studded ensemble cast is further expanded with exciting new additions such as SJ Suryah, Mithun Chakraborty, Vidya Balan, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Anna Rajan, and Jatin Sarna. Furthermore, much like the first installment, audiences can expect thrilling on-screen cameos from Mohanlal and Shiva Rajkumar.
With its massive cast, musical numbers, and the unmatched screen presence of Rajinikanth, the film is gearing up for a huge theatrical run. As confirmed at the end of the ‘Bindaas’ music video and official announcements, ‘Jailer 2’ will hit theatres worldwide on October 15, 2026.
