Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan has a flair for fashion that moves effortlessly between contemporary styles and timeless Indian elegance. While her off-duty wardrobe celebrates comfort and simplicity, her traditional appearances reveal a love for vibrant colours, intricate craftsmanship and dramatic silhouettes. From breezy cotton suits to elaborate lehengas and embroidered ensembles, the actress makes ethnic dressing feel both youthful and regal. She also understands the power of styling, allowing striking outfits to shine without unnecessary accessories. Her latest look captures that spirit, bringing heritage textiles together with a glamorous modern sensibility.
For a recent appearance, Sara Ali Khan wore Manish Malhotra's Royal Sapphire Bandhani Lehenga Set, an opulent three-piece creation combining royal sapphire blue with deep amethyst and plum. Taking to Instagram, the Bollywood actress shared stunning photos of herself in the lehenga.

The voluminous skirt featured an intricate interplay of traditional Bandhani dotted diamonds, floral motifs and richly patterned panels. Gold-toned accents, ornate borders and mirror-work details added luminosity to the jewel-toned fabric, while the generous flare made the lehenga particularly dramatic in seated photographs. Tiny jewel-coloured highlights punctuated the blue and plum panels, creating depth as the fabric moved.
Her blouse offered a contemporary counterpoint to the traditional skirt. Designed with a high halter neckline and sleeveless cut, the fitted crop top was covered in rows of reflective mirrors, circular motifs and intricate gold embroidery. The embellished neckline created the illusion of layered jewellery. Its daring open back featured narrow connecting straps and a striking vertical arrangement of gold decorative ornaments cascading down the centre, making the back view just as arresting as the front.
A matching sapphire blue Bandhani dupatta completed the ensemble. Featuring multicoloured dotted patterns, an intricately worked border and dangling gold embellishments, it was draped around her arms and across her back rather than covering the ornate blouse.
Sara Ali Khan kept her accessories carefully considered, opting for small gold-toned stud earrings, chunky antique-gold bangles and statement rings. She skipped a necklace, letting the embellished halter neckline command attention.
Her dark hair was neatly centre-parted and swept into a sleek low bun, decorated with delicate gold accents. For makeup, Sara Ali Khan chose defined brows, softly smoky brown eyes, subtle eyeliner, glowing skin, gently flushed cheeks and glossy pink lips.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Sara Ali Khan was last seen alongside Ayushmann Khurrana in ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh Do’. The movie, co-starring Rakul Preet Singh and Wamiqa Gabbi, released in theatres on May 15.
Sara Ali Khan reunited with Ayushmann Khurrana for 'Udta Teer'. Directed by Akash A Kaushik, the movie released in cinemas today (October 23).
