'The White Lotus' won Best Limited Series accolade at Golden Globes 2023.

HBO's uber-popular show 'The White Lotus' won the Golden Globe for Best Limited Series while lead star Jennifer Coolidge won for her portrayal of Tanya in the show and she took home the prize for Best Supporting Actress -Limited Series. It is important to mention that the second season of 'The White Lotus' had premiered last year and it was appreciated by critics and viewers alike.

After winning the award, Jennifer Coolidge declared on stage: "This is really a fun night."

'The White Lotus' is an American black comedy-drama series created by Mike White and the plot follows the guests and employees of the fictional White Lotus resort chain whose stay is affected by their various dysfunctions. The first season was set in Hawaii while the second season was set in Sicily.

Earlier in the ceremony, Evan Peters took home the prize for Best Actor, Limited Series, Anthology Series or Television Motion Picture for his role in Netflix's show 'Dahmer-Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story'.

Amanda Seyfried won the Best Actress- Limited Series, Anthology Series, or Television Motion Picture for her role in 'The Dropout'. 

The Golden Globes 2023 are being held at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California. The host for the ceremony is Jerrod Charmichael.  The nominations for the ceremony were announced on December 12, 2022. 'The Banshees of Inisherin' lead the nomination list with eight nods, including Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy and Best Director.

When it comes to feature films, 'Everything Everywhere All At Once' has received six nominations while 'Babylon' and 'The Fabelmans' got five nods each.
