Sophie Turner Says She "Hated" Priyanka Chopra, Danielle Jonas And Herself Being "Always Called The Wives"
Sophie Turner has finally opened up about her relationship with Joe Jonas, and how it was like being part of the Jonas family.
'Game of Thrones' actress Sophie Turner and singer Joe Jonas sent the internet into a tizzy, after they announced their divorce after being together for more than seven years, and having two children. In the latest Hollywood celebrity news, Sophie Turner has finally opened up about her relationship with Joe Jonas, and how it was like being part of the Jonas family. For the unversed, Priyanka Chopra and Danielle Jonas are currently married to Nick Jonas and Kevin Jonas, respectively. The trio have been often seen accompanying their husbands on tour.
Speaking to British Vogue, Sophie Turner said, "There was a lot of attention on the three brothers, and the wives. Well, we were always called the wives, and I hated that.” Sophie also added that the three women were perceived as “groupies.”
“It was kind of this plus-one feeling. And that’s nothing to do with him – in no way did he make me feel that – it was just that the perception of us was as the groupies in the band,” she added.
Sophie, Priyanka and Danielle were also a part of the music video of 'Sucker'. For the uninitiated, this track marked the reunion of the Jonas Brothers band.
Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas' relationship crumbled last year, and there were several media reports which painted the actress as the "irresponsible mother who liked to party".
"I’m unhappy with the way everything played out, especially when it comes to my children. They’re the victims in all of this. But I think we’re doing the best we can," said Sophie Turner.
She also said that Joe is a “great father to our children.”
For the unversed, Joe and Sophie started dating in 2016 and the duo eventually got married in Las Vegas in 2019.
They are parents to two daughters – Willa, 3, and Delphine, 1.
On the other hand, Priyanka and Nick tied the knot in 2018, and have one daughter, Malti Marie.
