As per Variety, 'Bullet Train' director David Leitch is in talks to direct the upcoming Hollywood flick. As per the latest Hollywood news, David Koepp, who is the original screenwriter of 'Jurassic Park', and 'The Lost World: Jurassic Park', will be writing the script for the film. David Leitch’s directorial credits include 'John Wick', 'Atomic Blonde', 'Fast & Furious' spinoff 'Hobbes & Shaw', 'Deadpool 2' and this year’s Emily Blunt and Ryan Gosling-led action comedy 'The Fall Guy', which is slated to release in cinemas on May 3, 2024.
As per the latest Hollywood news, the new 'Jurassic World' film will be executive produced by Steven Spielberg through Amblin Entertainment. Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley will act as producers. David Leitch and Kelly McCormick will also produce the film through 87North.
As per Variety, Koepp's other scripts in his 30-plus year screenwriting career include 'Mission: Impossible', 'Spider-Man', 'Death Becomes Her', 'Panic Room' and 'War of the Worlds'.
As per the latest Hollywood news update, the new 'Jurassic World' film will begin a fresh storyline in the uber-popular franchise, which has spanned more than three decades.
However, it is not known whether any previous stars, including Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Neill, Laura Dern, or Jeff Goldblum, will return in the new film.
Ever since Spielberg’s original 'Jurassic Park', released in 1993, the six-film franchise has earned more than USD 6 billion worldwide.
The latest film of the franchise -- 2022’s 'Jurassic World Dominion', had surpassed USD 1 billion worldwide.
