Joey King, Nicole Kidman And Zac Efron’s ‘A Family Affair’ Poster Out. Film To Premiere On Netflix
Directed by Richard Lagravenese, ‘A Family Affair’ will also star Liza Koshy and Kathy Bates.

Nicole Kidman and Zac Efron are set to reunite in an upcoming Netflix movie titled ‘A Family Affair’. For the unversed, Nicole Kidman and Zac Efron previously worked together in the ‘The Paperboy’. Touted to be a romantic comedy, ‘A Family Affair’ will also feature ‘The Kissing Booth’ star Joey King. As fans are eagerly waiting for the trailer to release, Netflix dropped the first poster of the upcoming movie. Along with the first poster, they also announced the release date. The upcoming movie, co-starring Liza Koshy and Kathy Bates, will release on the streaming platform on June 28, 2024. She captioned the post, “Kidman. Efron. King.”

Joey King also took to Instagram and shared the film’s poster writing, “A Family Affair official poster. All I can say is…it’s the love story you never knew you needed.”
The poster featured Joey King looking away from the camera with a slightly disappointed expression, while Nicole Kidman can be seen smiling. On the wall behind Joey King and Nicole Kidman are posters featuring Zac Efron’s face.
According to the synopsis on Netflix’s website Tudum, ‘A Family Affair’ will follow Joey King’s character, whose life turns upside down after she walks in on her mother (Nicole Kidman) sharing an intimate moment with her former boss (Zac Efron).
The movie's official logline states, “A surprising romance kicks off comic consequences for a young woman, her mother, and her movie star boss as they face the complications of love, sex, and identity.”
Directed by Richard LaGravenese of ‘Beautiful Creatures’ and ‘P.S., I Love You’ fame, ‘A Family Affair’ is written by Carrie Solomon and produced by Joe Roth and Jeff Kirschenbaum. Michelle Morrissey, Alyssa Altman and Solomon are executive producers of the film.
Reportedly, the film was shot in Atlanta, USA, from August to October 2022. It was initially set to release on November 17, 2023, but its release was postponed in the wake of the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strikes.
