'House of the Dragon' Season 2 has finally ended. The finale episode aired in India on Monday morning, and the eighth episode which is around 67 minutes long, is currently available on JioCinema. In this article, we will be talking about what all happened in the finale episode, but before getting right to business, let us give you a warning! This article will be filled with spoilers, hence if you are yet to watch the episode, then refrain from reading further.

Now that we are done with the statutory warning, let us give you a lowdown on what all happened in the finale episode.

The Season 2 finale begins in Essos as Tyland Lannister (Jefferson Hall) makes his presence felt in order to negotiate with the Triarchy to support Team Green in exchange for the Stepstones islands. After a lot of convincing, Sharako Lohar (Abigail Thorn) finally agrees to lead the naval fleet, as she beats Tyland in a mud wrestling fight.

Back in King's Landing, Prince Regent Aemond Targaryen (Ewan Mitchell) burns down an entire town with his dragon Vhagar. It is then that his sister Helaena Targaryen (Phia Saban) and mother Alicent are shocked at what he’s done. Aemond then demands Helaena to take flight on her dragon Dreamfyre to aid in the war. However, Alicent stands up for her daughter, who later reveals that she knows that it was Aemond who burnt their brother King Aegon II Targaryen (Tom Glynn-Carney) during the Battle of Rook’s Rest.

Daemon Targaryen (Matt Smith) is taken by witch Alys Rivers (Gayle Rankin) to a weirwood tree, and is there that he has visions of the upcoming 'Game of Thrones' future. He sees the Three-Eyed Raven, White Walkers from beyond the Wall and a glimpse of Emilia Clarke’s Daenerys Targaryen with her three baby dragons.

As a part of his visions, Daemon also sees himself drowning, Rhaenyra sitting on the Iron Throne, a dead dragon and a pile of corpses.

This vision ends up scaring Daemon, and he bends the knee to Rhaenyra.

During the concluding moments of the episode, Alicent pays Rhaenyra a visit during which she begs her to end the war. She tells Rhaenyra that Team Black can conquer King’s Landing in three days while Aemond is away at war with Criston.

At the end of the episode, Green and Black forces were seen preparing for an all-out war. The Lannisters join the Greens, the Triarchy ships face the Velaryon fleet, and Starks march south to join the fight.
