'Deadpool 3', 'Captain America 4' Delayed. Check Out New Release Dates
Marvel has delayed the release of 'Deadpool 3', 'Captain America 4', and 'Thunderbolts'.

Walt Disney Company has confirmed that 'Deadpool 3', starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, has officially been postponed. For the unversed, the new Hollywood film was earlier slated to release on May 3, 2024, and it will now be releasing on July 26, 2024. 'Deadpool 3' is now claiming the slot which was previously occupied by 'Captain America: Brave New World'.
'Captain America: Brave New World' will now be releasing on February 14, 2025, as reported by Variety. Marvel's 'Thunderbolts' has also been moved from December 20, 2024 to July 25, 2025.
'Blade' reboot has been shifted from February 15, 2025 to November 7, 2025.
Disney has also delayed its upcoming prequel to its 2019 CGI remake of 'The Lion King'.
'Mufasa: The Lion King', directed by Barry Jenkins, will now be releasing on December 20, 2024. Earlier, it was slated to release in theatres on July 5, 2024.
For the unversed, 'Deadpool 3' was forced to suspend production after the SAG-AFTRA strike began in July 2023.
Earlier this year, Ryan Reynolds had shared the first look of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine in 'Deadpool 3'. The actor shared the look on his Instagram story. The photo featured Hugh’s Wolverine and Ryan’s Deadpool posing together.
In the photo, Ryan Reynolds can be seen dressed in his red Deadpool suit while Hugh Jackman donned the iconic yellow suit.
Hugh Jackman had last played the role of Wolverine in 2017's 'Logan'. For the unversed, the actor played the role of Wolverine in many X-Men movies, however, he never donned the iconic yellow and blue costume of the character.
This is the first time that he would sport this particular costume.
Earlier, it was announced that Hugh Jackman would be retiring as Wolverine after the release of his 2017 film 'Logan'.
