Emma Corrin, famous for playing Lady Diana in 'The Crown' has been roped in for upcoming 'Deadpool 3'. As a result, Corrin has now joined Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman for the third installment of 'Deadpool'. As per Variety, the exact role of Corrin has not been revealed, but she is expected to play the villain opposite Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool and Hugh Jackman's Wolverine. It was Ryan Reynolds who announced the casting of Corrin. On Twitter, he wrote: "New addition to the family! The Deadpool family, for clarity. Which is just like a real family except with less swearing… Welcome, Emma Corrin."

'Deadpool 3' is slated to release in the theatres on September 6, 2024.

The movie will be directed by Shawn Levy, who has previously directed Reynolds in 'Free Guy' and 'The Adam Project'.

The casting of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine in 'Deadpool 3' was met with universal acceptance by the fans.

Jackman and Reynolds developed a close friendship when they shared screen space in the 2009 film ‘X-Men Origins: Wolverine’ and since then, they have been making jokes at each other’s expense.

'Deadpool' had released in 2016 and it was a spin-off in the 'X-Men' film series and the eighth installment overall. In the film, Reynolds' character goes after the man who gave him mutant abilities and a scarred physical appearance.

'Deadpool 2' was then released in 2018. The film was helmed by David Leitch. In the film, Reynolds' character forms X-Force to protect a young mutant from the time-traveling soldier Cable.
