Hugh Jackman Hilariously Trolls Ryan Reynolds, “Begs” Academy Not To “Validate” Deadpool Star With Oscar Nod
Hugh Jackman donned the hat of a Twitter troll, roasting Ryan Reynolds after the latter earned a spot in the Oscars 2023 shortlist for ‘Good Afternoon’ from the film ‘Spirited’.

Who doesn’t like poking fun at a friend? Well, we all do! And it seems like Hugh Jackman is no different and enjoys trolling his pals too. Actors Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds are quite entertaining on screen but their fake feud off screen might just be their best work yet. The stars developed a close friendship when they shared screen space in the 2009 film ‘X-Men Origins: Wolverine’ and since then, they have been making jokes at each other’s expense.
Whether they are trolling each other during interviews or throwing some shade on social media, it’s truly entertaining to witness their fake rivalry.
If you are also a fan of their fake beef, then you can’t miss Hugh Jackman’s latest video roasting Ryan Reynolds!
Hugh Jackman recently posted a video on Twitter, begging the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences not to nominate Ryan Reynolds’ song ‘Good Afternoon’ from the film ‘Spirited’ in the Best Original Song category.
In the video, Hugh Jackman jokingly said that if Ryan got nominated, it would make the Logan star’s life “insufferable.”

While the video is all things entertaining, another highlight that took everyone’s attention was a possible title for the upcoming movie ‘Deadpool 3’.
Many thought that Hugh Jackman accidentally revealed the potential title for the movie when he said, “I have to spend a year with him making Wolverine and Deadpool, trust me, it would be impossible.”
Within minutes, Reynolds replied saying, “Disagree. I think the deepfakes that sung and danced for Will and I would love to perform at the Oscars.”
Then, Ryan Reynolds curiously tweeted, "Also Wolverine and Deadpool, bub?"

One excited fan wrote, “is this a movie title reveal???”
Another one added, “Ohhhh did Hugh almost drop an F-Bomb there?”
A third user commented, “Yeah, I was already theorising that this movie isn’t a classic “Deadpool 3”, but a “Deadpool & Wolverine” movie!”
I guess, we all will just have to wait for the official title reveal. While we don’t have the title yet, we have other details about ‘Deadpool 3’.
The upcoming movie, being directed by Shawn Levy, is scheduled to be released in November 8, 2024.
