Indian actress Wamiqa Gabbi, who is celebrating her birthday today, has carved a niche for herself not only with her impressive acting performances but also with her refined fashion choices. Known for embracing classic silhouettes with a touch of contemporary grace, Wamiqa often gravitates toward ensembles that mirror her artistic personality. Whether she’s experimenting with vibrant prints, soft pastels, or statement drapes, her style always feels thoughtful and elevated. This time, the actress chose a custom-crafted saree by Baise Gaba, and her look embodied softness, nostalgia, and a cinematic ode to transformation.
The saree featured a sun-drenched ivory base with floral prints in yellow, lavender, and earthy brown tones. Wamiqa paired it with a yellow blouse featuring multi-coloured butterfly embellishments. Taking to Instagram, the birthday girl shared alluring images of herself in the beautiful drape.

The ensemble featured a sun-drenched ivory base adorned with delicate floral prints in muted yellows, purples, and earthy browns. The airy fabric flowed with gentle ruffles and pleats, creating a breezy effect reminiscent of fluttering wings – a symbolic nod to her character Titli from her last release ‘Bhool Chuk Maaf’.
The highlight of the look was undoubtedly the custom blouse, which carried butterfly-inspired detailing along the neckline. Intricately crafted 3D butterfly embellishments perched delicately on her shoulder straps, adding whimsical drama without overshadowing the saree’s understated elegance. The deep-cut blouse framed her neckline beautifully while scalloped edges, finished with pastel beadwork, enhanced its handcrafted appeal.
Wamiqa Gabbi kept her accessories minimal, allowing the ensemble’s artistry to take centre stage. She wore subtle stud earrings and skipped heavy jewellery to maintain the fuss-free grace of the drape. The choice echoed the designers’ intent – to create a piece that feels light, transformative, and quietly powerful, much like her on-screen persona. A pair of muted-toned heels peeked through the saree, elongating her frame while complementing the colour story of the outfit.
Her beauty look was kept fresh and luminous. With a glowing, dewy base, softly flushed cheeks, and a glossy nude lip, Wamiqa exuded an effortless radiance. Her eyes were accentuated with kohl-lined lids and fluttery lashes, striking a balance between dreamy and dramatic.
The hair, styled in a loose, voluminous ponytail with tendrils framing her face, lent an unstructured softness to the look – mirroring the airy, free-flowing vibe of her saree.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Wamiqa Gabbi was last seen alongside Rajkummar Rao in ‘Bhool Chuk Maaf’. Prior to this, she starred in the 2024 Hindi movie ‘Baby John’. The movie, co-starring Varun Dhawan, Keerthy Suresh and Jackie Shroff, was directed by Kalees.
Wamiqa will next be seen in the upcoming series ‘Rakht Brahmand’ alongside Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Aditya Roy Kapur and Ali Fazal. The actress also has ‘Bhoot Bangla’ in the pipeline. In the film, she will be featuring along with Akshay Kumar, Tabu and Paresh Rawal.
