Tara Sutaria Makes Bold Case For High Glamour In Pearl And Crystal Dress. See Pics, Video
Tara Sutaria turned heads in a pearl and crystal couture dress that sculpted, sparkled and stunned.
Tara Sutaria has steadily carved a space for herself as one of Bollywood’s most refined fashion muses – someone who gravitates towards elegance, structure and timeless glamour rather than trend-chasing theatrics. Whether she’s walking the red carpet, attending a high-profile soirée, or posing for an editorial shoot, her style vocabulary remains rooted in classic silhouettes elevated with couture craftsmanship. Tara’s fashion choices often blur the line between old-world sophistication and modern sensuality, favouring sculpted fits, luxe textures and high-impact detailing. It’s this polished restraint, paired with a bold confidence, that makes her style consistently memorable.
For this appearance, Tara Sutaria turned to Kuwaiti couturier Yousef Al Jasmi, wearing a high-glam, body-contouring couture dress from his 2022–23 haute couture collection. Taking to Instagram, Tara shared jaw-dropping photos of herself in the embellished dress.

Celebrity fashion stylist Tanya Ghavri also took to Instagram and shared a stunning video of Tara Sutaria in the pearl and crystal couture dress.
Have a look at the video here:
The dress was crafted on a nude illusion base and densely embellished with thousands of pearls and crystals arranged in cascading, symmetrical drapes that created a trompe l’oeil effect – as though the beadwork is floating mid-air against her skin. The silhouette was sharply sculpted, hugging her frame like a second skin, with a fitted midi-length hem that enhanced its vintage glamour appeal.
A high halter neckline anchored the look, giving it a regal, statuesque presence, while the matching crystal-encrusted opera gloves extended the drama, reinforcing the Old Hollywood inspiration cited by stylist Tanya Ghavri. The overall colour palette stayed within luminous champagne, ivory and silver tones, allowing the craftsmanship and light-reflecting texture to remain the focal point.
Tara Sutaria styled the look with minimal yet precise accessories. She wore diamond stud earrings by Mahesh Notandass, keeping the neckline uncluttered so the dress could command attention. On her feet were Rene Caovilla’s metallic silver “Juniper” sandals, adding subtle shine without overpowering the dress, while a crystal-embellished bag from Beau Monde Accessories completed the ensemble with cohesive sparkle.
Her hair was styled into a sleek low bun, enhancing the neckline and lending a clean, editorial finish. Makeup remained equally polished – softly contoured skin, feathered lashes, defined brows, a touch of champagne shimmer on the lids, and a muted rose-nude lip that balanced glamour with sophistication.
Meanwhile, on the film front, Tara Sutaria was last seen in the 2023 OTT movie ‘Apurva’, which was released on Disney+ Hotstar. The Nikhil Nagesh Bhat directorial also starred Abhishek Banerjee, Rajpal Yadav, Dhairya Karwa, Aaditya Gupta and Sumit Gulati.
Tara Sutaria has been active in music videos, most recently featuring in ‘Thodi Si Daaru’ with AP Dhillon and ‘Pyaar Aata Hai’ with Ishaan Khatter.
For the unversed, Tara Sutaria made her acting debut with Karan Johar’s ‘Student of the Year 2’ in 2019. Later, she featured in several films, including ‘Ek Villain Returns’, ‘Heropanti 2’, ‘Tadap’ and ‘Marjaavaan’.
