Indian actress Tamannaah Bhatia has a knack for making ethnic wear feel glamorous without losing its traditional soul. Her fashion repertoire moves comfortably between sculpted gowns, contemporary separates and elaborate sarees, but festive dressing is where her love for rich colours and artisanal details really shines. Her latest outing captures that balance beautifully, pairing old-world opulence with a distinctly modern, sensual approach to saree dressing.

The label listed the saree in crepe, paired with a raw-silk blouse, while its design brought together several contrasting textures. The fluid maroon drape was framed by an elaborate gold lace border, densely worked with metallic embroidery, sequins and decorative details. Dark velvet sections along the pallu introduced intricate multicoloured printed motifs, while oversized gold embroidered motifs added another dramatic layer. Cascading gold-toned coins and delicate kauri shells trimming the lace brought movement and an artisanal finish.

The accompanying fitted maroon bralette blouse gave all that maximalism a cleaner counterpoint. It featured a sculpted sweetheart neckline and a cropped silhouette, while ornate lace detailing extended over the shoulders to create cape-like sleeves. Coin embellishments and tassel-like accents along the shoulders tied it seamlessly back to the saree. The result felt unmistakably traditional in its materials yet contemporary in construction.
Tamannaah Bhatia let her jewellery introduce pops of contrasting colour. Her Jacarti Fine Jewellery Nayesha Diamond & Polki statement earrings combined natural uncut Polki diamonds with vivid Zambian emeralds and lush sapphires. The dangling green and deep-blue stones stood out beautifully against the maroon. A slim, sparkling bracelet featuring green stones adorned one wrist, while she skipped a necklace to keep the sculpted neckline uncluttered.
Her long brunette hair was worn open in soft, polished waves with a centre part and subtle volume through the lengths. Her makeup was kept fresh and luminous: fluttery lashes and black liner defined the eyes, while rosy blush gave the cheeks a flushed finish. Glossy pink lips and a tiny maroon bindi completed the beauty look.
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Tamannaah can now be seen in ‘The Vvaan: Force Of The Forrest’. Co-starring Sidharth Malhotra, the movie released in cinemas today. Directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra, the film also stars Sunil Grover, Maniesh Paul, Shweta Tiwari and Anup Soni.
