Indian actress Tamannaah Bhatia has given fans an inside look at the making of ‘Thummak Thummak’, the new dance number from her upcoming film ‘The Vvaan’, co-starring Sidharth Malhotra. The Bollywood actress took to Instagram to share a carousel of behind-the-scenes pictures from the shoot, captioning the post with a line from the song itself. The post quickly crossed 4.3 lakh likes, with Mouni Roy among those liking it, while Zee Music Company and choreographer Bosco Martis dropped love in the comments.

The post opened with a striking black-and-white frame of Tamannaah mid-pose, one arm raised behind her head, backlit by a curtain of fairy lights. Dressed in a heavily embroidered lehenga set, she looked every bit the classic Bollywood dance-number heroine, with background dancers blurred behind her.

The next picture switched to warm, golden tones and was shot from behind the camera rig. Tamannaah's hair flew mid-spin as she brushed it off her forehead, while a crowd of dancers celebrated in a street lit up with string lights. The backless tie-up blouse caught the eye here, and the camera operator in the foreground made it feel like a genuine on-set moment.

Sidharth entered the frame in the third picture, set against a palace-like backdrop with a crystal chandelier, carved jaali panels and scalloped arches. Sporting an oversized ivory jacket, cargo trousers and sneakers, he shared a warm, laughing moment with Tamannaah as she leaned into him. A camera crane with a live monitor can be spotted on the right.
In another frame, the two walked side by side, Sidharth in a white kurta dotted with metallic disc detailing under an open jacket. This one offered the clearest look at Tamannaah's navy blouse with silver floral embroidery and tasselled sleeves, paired with chandbali earrings and stacked bangles.
One of the standout shots placed Tamannaah at the centre of a sea of dancers on a busy street set, complete with Hindi signage and a tree draped in lights, as she beamed at the camera. A monochrome picture followed, capturing Sidharth and Tamannaah sharing a laugh, heads almost touching, as they danced through a packed crowd.
The carousel also included a candid, in-between-takes moment of Tamannaah standing in front of a "Shree Radha Krishna" hotel and restaurant signboard with crew members around her. Another colourful frame caught the pair in a playful step, with the crowd cheering them on, while a black-and-white shot showed the actress peeking over her shoulder, framed between the camera rig and a crew member.
The most talked-about picture may be the one where Tamannaah tugged at Sidharth's lapels, their faces inches apart as her hair whipped around, a clear sign of the chemistry the song was selling. The carousel closed on a cinematic note, with Tamannaah walking away from the camera towards a glowing arch of lights and a grand chandelier.
Released under the Zee Music label, the track has been composed and produced by Tanishk Bagchi, with Dev Negi and Akasa Singh lending their voices, while the lyrics are by Shabbir Ahmed and Tanishk Bagchi. Unlike the mysterious world seen in the film's earlier glimpses, the song took a more playful approach, with ‘The Vvaan’ set against a backdrop of Indian folklore, ancient beliefs and supernatural forces.
Presented by Balaji Motion Pictures in association with TVF and 11.11 Production, the film is written by Arunabh Kumar and directed by Deepak Mishra, with Manu Anand as DOP and Visual Director. It has been produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, Arunabh Kumar and Niraj Kothari, and is set to release in cinemas on September 25, 2026.
