Sara Ali Khan, who is celebrating her birthday today, slipped into an ivory ensemble by designer Shantanu & Nikhil, featuring a pearl-embellished jacket, a hand-detailed pearl bodice and a sculpted mini skirt.

The standout element was undoubtedly the sleeveless, high-neck bodice, which was covered in countless strands of tiny pearls. Arranged in cascading, curved layers from the neck down to the torso, the pearls created the illusion of an elaborate piece of body jewellery while still functioning as part of the ensemble. The sheer neutral-toned base underneath allowed the intricate pearl work to command attention.

Sara Ali Khan paired the bodice with a fitted ivory mini skirt featuring a clean, fuss-free silhouette that balanced the drama above. Layered over it was a structured ivory jacket with strong shoulders, full sleeves and an open front. The jacket itself appeared richly textured with delicate pearl embellishment, adding subtle shimmer without competing with the spectacular bodice. The Bollywood actress wore it draped over her shoulders in some frames and properly slipped into it in others, giving the same ensemble two distinctly different moods.
Her accessories stayed within the pearl-heavy aesthetic. Sara Ali Khan wore statement pearl earrings framed by sparkling bow-like detailing, along with an ear cuff featuring a delicate dangling chain. A silver-toned rectangular watch and dainty rings added further polish. She completed the outfit with transparent heels.
Beauty-wise, Sara Ali Khan opted for sleek sophistication. Her dark hair was pulled into a neat high ponytail, ensuring the high neckline and jewellery remained completely visible. Her makeup featured luminous skin, softly sculpted cheeks, warm brown eyeshadow, defined lashes and subtly lined eyes. A muted rosy lip provided the finishing touch.
