Jacqueline Fernandez embraced vintage glamour in a sculpted ivory and black gown with opera gloves, pearl jewels and a sleek high bun.
Jacqueline Fernandez has steadily carved a niche for herself as one of Bollywood’s most fashion-forward stars, effortlessly balancing contemporary glamour with timeless sophistication. Whether she is embracing experimental couture on international red carpets or slipping into bold silhouettes for promotional appearances, the actress rarely misses a style beat. Her recent appearance at the Global Gift Gala during the 79th Cannes Film Festival once again proved her flair for dramatic dressing. Opting for an exquisitely crafted Richard Quinn creation, Jacqueline delivered a look that beautifully blended vintage elegance with modern couture craftsmanship.
For the event, Jacqueline wore a breathtaking gown from British designer Richard Quinn’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection. Taking to Instagram, the Bollywood actress shared jaw-dropping photos of herself in the gown.

The couture piece featured a structured, strapless corset bodice in shimmering ivory embellished tweed, woven with delicate crystal detailing that lent the fabric a luxurious sparkle. The sweetheart neckline was framed with contrasting black velvet cups, instantly adding definition and vintage glamour.
The fitted corset cinched her waist before transitioning into a dramatic draped satin skirt in a soft butter-yellow hue. Rather than following a conventional silhouette, the skirt was sculpted with voluminous side drapes that gathered gracefully toward the front, creating fluid movement while maintaining an architectural finish.
The waist became the focal point of the ensemble thanks to an oversized white camellia flower appliqué, accented with oversized black bow detailing on either side. The striking floral embellishment added a couture flourish while beautifully tying together the gown’s ivory, black and buttery yellow palette. Seen from the back, the gown maintained its impeccable structure, with the corseted bodice flowing seamlessly into the sculptural satin drape and a subtle back slit that allowed ease of movement.
Jacqueline Fernandez completed the ensemble with metallic heels that remained mostly concealed beneath the sweeping gown. The styling embraced old-Hollywood glamour without overwhelming the couture design. She paired the gown with elegant pearl-and-diamond jewellery by Mahesh Notandass, including a statement pearl necklace and matching floral-inspired earrings that perfectly complemented the sophisticated mood of the outfit. Long black opera gloves added a theatrical, vintage-inspired touch while creating a dramatic contrast against the lighter tones of the gown.
Her hair was swept into a sleek, polished high bun with a centre parting, while a pair of face-framing tendrils softened the structured hairstyle. For makeup, Jacqueline Fernandez opted for luminous skin, sculpted cheeks, softly bronzed eyes enhanced with winged eyeliner, defined brows, fluttery lashes and a muted mauve lip.
