Jacqueline Fernandez, who is celebrating her birthday today, raised the glamour quotient in a smoked bronze and charcoal black embellished lehenga.
Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez, who is celebrating her birthday today, has long mastered the art of making glamour look effortless. Whether she is slipping into a sculpted gown, embracing high-octane Indian wear or experimenting with contemporary silhouettes, the actress rarely shies away from drama. Her fashion choices often balance sensuality with polish, with statement-making details doing much of the talking. Jacqueline also knows when to dial back the styling and allow an elaborate outfit to take centre stage. Her recent appearance follows exactly that formula, serving up a glamorous combination of intricate craftsmanship, sultry hues and modern-day lehenga dressing.

For her latest outing, Jacqueline Fernandez slipped into a custom Manish Malhotra lehenga in rich smoked bronze and charcoal black, and the heavily embellished creation was every bit the showstopper. Taking to Instagram, the birthday girl shared stunning photos of herself in the lehenga.

The ensemble featured a structured bustier-style cropped blouse with a sweetheart neckline, its dark base almost completely covered with metallic silver beads, crystals, sequins and intricate embroidered motifs. The symmetrical detailing across the bodice created an almost armour-like effect while beautifully contrasting with the fluidity of the skirt.
The high-waisted mermaid skirt hugged Jacqueline’s frame before gradually flaring towards the bottom. Instead of relying on one uniform pattern, the skirt brought together several striking embroidery techniques. Shimmering, wave-like metallic thread work dominated the upper portion, while oversized floral appliqué motifs appeared further down. A sparkling lattice pattern took over towards the lower half, before dense three-dimensional floral embellishments and an ornate border finished the hem. Seen from the back, the intricate workmanship became even more striking, with the elaborate motifs continuing around the sweeping silhouette.

Adding an unexpected contemporary touch was a sheer charcoal-black dupatta. Rather than wearing it in a conventional lehenga drape, Jacqueline wrapped the fabric around her neck like a scarf, allowing its long panels to cascade dramatically down her back and along both sides. A dense cluster of delicate pearl-like tassels at the ends added movement while maintaining the outfit’s decadent mood.
With so much happening on the lehenga, Jacqueline Fernandez wisely kept her jewellery minimal. She wore delicate stud earrings and dainty rings, including a sparkling statement ring, allowing Manish Malhotra’s intricate embroidery to remain the focus.
Her beauty look stayed firmly within the ensemble’s sultry palette. Jacqueline Fernandez opted for luminous bronzed skin, softly sculpted cheeks, defined brows, smoky eyes and glossy neutral-brown lips. Her long brunette hair was styled into a voluminous side-parted blowout, with glossy, softly curled layers framing her face and cascading over her shoulders.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Jacqueline was last seen in ‘Welcome 3’. Marking the third installment of the ‘Welcome’ movie series, the film also featured Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Raveena Tandon, Johnny Lever, Paresh Rawal, Lara Dutta, Rajpal Yadav, Arshad Warsi, Shreyas Talpade, Tusshar Kapoor, and Disha Patani.
Prior to this, she starred in ‘Housefull 5’, directed by Tarun Mansukhani. The film, which released in theatres on June 6 last year, featured a star-studded cast including Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri, Soundarya Sharma, Jackie Shroff, Fardeen Khan, and Sanjay Dutt.
