Bhumi Pednekar exuded regal glamour in a richly embroidered wine saree.
Bhumi Pednekar has carved a distinct niche for herself as one of Bollywood’s most fearless and fashion-forward dressers. Known for championing Indian couture with a contemporary edge, she gravitates towards silhouettes that balance structure with sensuality. Whether she’s embracing maximalist embroidery, rich jewel tones, or bold drapes, Bhumi always carries an unmistakable confidence that elevates her styling choices. Her red-carpet looks often spotlight craftsmanship and heritage, paired with a modern glamour that highlights her sculpted features and signature bronzed glow. This recent appearance once again reinforced her strong command over ornate festive couture.
For this look, Bhumi Pednekar draped a wine-hued handwoven Kanjivaram and dupion silk saree by Tarun Tahiliani, a piece celebrated for its meticulous craftsmanship. Taking to Instagram, the Bollywood actress shared stunning photos of herself in the saree.

The saree featured intricately hand-embroidered borders inspired by Bidri work, echoing the centuries-old metal inlay craft from Karnataka. Its surface gleamed with zardozi, resham, sequins, metallic threadwork, and lattice-patterned detailing, creating a rich interplay of texture and luminosity.
The pallu was heavily embellished with jewel-toned accents and sequinned motifs, giving the drape a sculptural, couture-leaning fall.
She paired it with a matching wine, jewel-encrusted choli, equally ornate and structured, featuring dense beading and a deep neckline that added modern sensuality while maintaining regal balance. The blouse’s long sleeves carried uniform embroidery, tying the entire ensemble into a cohesive statement look rooted in Indian artistry.
Her accessories further elevated the maximalist mood. Bhumi wore a ruby-and-pearl choker and rings from Golecha Jewels, injecting a bold vintage glamour. Her ear cuffs from Amaris Jewels added a contemporary sculptural flair, while the maroon, embossed, beaded clutch by Meera Mahadevia echoed the saree’s textural richness. The jewellery’s deep ruby tones complemented the wine palette perfectly, amplifying the couture drama without overpowering the drape.
For makeup, Bhumi Pednekar opted for a polished, romantic finish — softly contoured skin, pink-mauve shimmer eyelids, subtle wings, strong brows, and glossy mauve lips that lend warmth and glow to the face.
Her hair was pulled back into a sleek, tight bun, allowing the statement choker and the intricate blouse neckline to shine.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Bhumi Pednekar last featured in ‘The Royals’, which also starred Ishaan Khatter in the lead role. Zeenat Aman, Sakshi Tanwar, Nora Fatehi, Dino Morea, Milind Soman, Chunky Panday and Vihaan Samat featured in key roles in the show. The show has been renewed for a second season.
Prior to this, she was seen alongside Arjun Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh and Harsh Gujral in ‘Mere Husband Ki Biwi’.
Up next, Bhumi has a web series in the pipeline – ‘Daldal’. She will reportedly also star alongside Imran Khan in his comeback film ‘Adhure Hum Adhure Tum’.
