Bhumi Pednekar Brings Heat To Shaadi Season With Black Lehenga. See Pics
Bhumi Pednekar made a stunning ethnic fashion statement in a black and golden lehenga.
Bhumi Pednekar has steadily carved a niche for herself as one of Bollywood’s most fearless fashion risk-takers, balancing glamour with a sharp sense of individuality. Whether she’s embracing sculpted silhouettes, experimental drapes, or unapologetically bold desi ensembles, the actress consistently brings intention to her wardrobe choices. Bhumi’s style thrives on contrast – soft femininity paired with strong cuts, tradition reworked through a contemporary lens. Over the years, she has emerged as a muse for modern Indian couture, unafraid to push boundaries while staying rooted in craft, making her fashion moments both striking and conversation-worthy.
For this striking photoshoot, Bhumi Pednekar stepped into House of Masaba’s ‘Aankhon Ka Paigam’ lehenga set in classic black, a look that blended old-world opulence with modern sensuality. Taking to Instagram, the Bollywood actress shared stunning photos of herself in the black and golden lehenga.

The lehenga skirt came crafted in organza and designed with 12 kalis, creating a fluid yet structured flare that moved with effortless grace. It is intricately embroidered with enlarged khidki motifs, layered with multiple khidkis and a bold chaand motif along the front kali. Rich moti work, sitara kaam, and fine cutdana embroidery ran through the panels in gleaming golden tones, giving the skirt depth without overwhelming the silhouette. A separate can-can skirt underneath added volume while maintaining a refined sweep.
The blouse was where the look truly commanded attention. Bhumi Pednekar wore a strapless, sculpted tube blouse in heavy raw silk, finished with a sharp sweetheart neckline. Abstract placement of the chaand motif across the bodice enhanced the structured design, while the fitted cut accentuated her frame with precision.
Completing the ensemble was a sheer black dupatta, detailed with Masaba’s signature ‘Gul Jharokha’ motif, delicate beadwork, crystal tassel accents, and softly scalloped edges that added a romantic contrast to the heavily embroidered lehenga.
Bhumi Pednekar dialed up the desi drama with jewellery from Shri Paramani Jewels, wearing a striking jadau polki choker, matching bangles, and a statement maang tikka that framed her face beautifully. She finished the look with Amama Jewels’ Basra Nano bag, an antique golden-toned piece inspired by Afghan motifs and dotted with pearls, tying the palette together seamlessly. A ring from Vasundhara Jewelry added a final touch of elegance.
Keeping the focus on the outfit and jewellery, Bhumi opted for soft-focus skin, muted pink lips, and subtly defined eyes, while her hair was styled in centre-parted loose, flowing waves that let the neckline and choker take centre stage.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Bhumi Pednekar last featured in ‘The Royals’, which also starred Ishaan Khatter in the lead role. Zeenat Aman, Sakshi Tanwar, Nora Fatehi, Dino Morea, Milind Soman, Chunky Panday and Vihaan Samat featured in key roles in the show. The show has been renewed for a second season.
Prior to this, she was seen alongside Arjun Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh and Harsh Gujral in ‘Mere Husband Ki Biwi’.
Currently, Bhumi can be seen in a new web series ‘Daldal’, which is streaming on Amazon Prime Video. She will reportedly also star alongside Imran Khan in his comeback film ‘Adhure Hum Adhure Tum’.
