For the Elle Beauty Awards 2025 recently, Alaya F arrived in Extraordinaire’s ‘Velours Sauvage Bow Gown’, a sculptural masterpiece crafted in silk velvet and mulberry silk satin. Taking to Instagram, the birthday girl shared stunning photos of herself in the ravishing black number.

The gown featured a strapless velvet corset bodice, structured and tightly contoured, with a scallop-trim sweetheart neckline that emphasised her décolletage with old-world glamour. The bodice narrowed into a dramatic mid-section where a large sculpted bow detail wrapped the waist, unfurling into layered satin that flowed into a full mermaid silhouette.
The contrast of matte velvet and fluid silk satin gave depth, dimension, and theatre – elevating the classic black gown into a runway-worthy piece built for stage lighting and flash photography. The back lacing detail added tension and drama, cinching her frame and keeping the silhouette sharply defined.
Accessories were minimal, carefully chosen to let the gown dominate. Alaya wore diamond-studded starburst earrings and a coordinating cocktail ring, both bringing clean sparkle against the deep velvet. No necklace – correctly, so the neckline remained uninterrupted.
Her makeup leaned into timeless luxe: deep wine lips, softly contoured cheeks, bronzed glow across the collarbones, and winged liner with feathered lashes for intensity. Skin looked polished and lit from within, enhancing the tactile richness of the gown. Her hair was kept sleek, straight, and parted – falling fluidly over one shoulder.
