Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif’s ‘Tiger 3’ Sees Big Dip. Check Latest Box Office Collection Inside
Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi’s ‘Tiger 3’ witnessed 50 per cent drop in its collection on its fourth day.

‘Tiger 3’, the latest movie in the YRF Spy Universe, reunited Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif after the 2019 Bollywood film ‘Bharat’. The new Hindi movie, co-starring Emraan Hashmi, was released in theatres on Diwali 2023. After a blockbuster start at the box office on November 12, ‘Tiger 3’ witnessed significant growth on its first Monday and maintained its stronghold on Tuesday. However, on the fourth day of its release, ‘Tiger 3’ witnessed a huge dip, a shocking 50 per cent drop in its collection.
On its first Wednesday, the new Hindi movie minted Rs 21.25 crore across all languages. Indian film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the latest box office figures on X (formerly Twitter).
Check out Taran Adarsh’s tweet below:
#Tiger3 started off well in morning shows on Day 4, but business took a severe hit post 1 pm due to the crucial #INDvsNZ semi-final cricket match.

While its first Wednesday fell on Bhai Dooj 2023, which was a holiday in many parts of the country, the film’s business took a hit due to the first Cricket World Cup 2023 semi-final, which was played between India and New Zealand at the Wankhede Stadium.
Now, it remains to be seen how the film performs on the fifth day of its release.
For the unversed, ‘Tiger 3’ minted Rs 44.50 crore across all languages on Sunday. It witnessed significant growth on Monday, collecting Rs 59.25 crore (Hindi, Tamil and Telugu). On Tuesday, it made Rs 44.75 crore across all languages. The new Hindi movie collected Rs 21.25 crore, bringing its total collection to Rs 169.75 crore.
‘Tiger 3’ is the fastest Salman Khan film to go past the Rs 100 crore mark at the domestic box office. ‘Tiger 3’ has also joined Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan’ and ‘Pathaan’ when it comes to being the fastest to enter the Rs 100 crore club. Both these SRK films had also taken two days to achieve the same feat.
‘Tiger 3’ is also Salman Khan’s 17th film to enter the Rs 100 crore club at the box office, and this is the highest for any actor in the history of Indian cinema.
Speaking of ‘Tiger 3’, the new Hindi movie has been directed by Maneesh Sharma. It had opened to mixed reviews. Some of the critics described it as the weakest film in the YRF Spy Universe.
However, looking at the audience response, it looks like, ‘Tiger 3’ has struck a chord with the masses. The single screens are performing better than multiplexes, just like in the case of ‘Gadar 2’.
‘Tiger 3’ also features cameos by Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan. The latter appears in the post-credits scene, setting up the events in motion for ‘War 2’, in which he will be sharing the screen with Jr NTR.
For the unversed, the YRF Spy Universe consists of movies such as 'Ek Tha Tiger', 'Tiger Zinda Hai', 'War', 'Pathaan', and now 'Tiger 3'. YRF has two more movies expected to come out -- 'War 2', and 'Tiger vs Pathaan'.
Meanwhile, Vikrant Massey’s latest release ‘12th Fail’ earned Rs 95 lakhs (early estimates) on Wednesday, as per industry tracker Sacnilk. The new Hindi movie, directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, has so far earned Rs 35.60 crore in India.
