Bajrang Dal protested against upcoming Shah Rukh Khan movie 'Pathaan' on Wednesday.

Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, enjoy a following like no other, so it is no surprise that fans are eagerly waiting for the release of 'Pathaan'. However, there are some who have taken offence to Deepika Padukone wearing a saffron bikini in song 'Besharam Rang' and hence Bajrang Dal workers upped their protest against the movie, and destroyed the movie posters in Ahmedabad in a mall, =.

However, Raees director Rahul Dholakia who is known for not mincing his words, gave his take on the protest, labelling it as "vandalism & hooliganism."

"This is not “protesting “ it’s called vandalism & hooliganism," he tweeted.

“Bajrang Dal workers got to know that posters of Pathaan movie were put up in the theatre. So, it was a ‘pradarshan (protest)’ as they did not want the movie to be released in the theatre, and police detained them,” spokesperson of Gujarat Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) Hitendrasinh Rajput was quoted as saying by Indian Express.

Deepika Padukone wearing a saffron-coloured bikini in the song, suddenly, became top news across the country ever since 'Besharam Rang' song was released.

So much so that the Central Board of Film Certification’s (CBFC) chairman Prasoon Joshi advised the film’s makers to revise certain parts of the movie and the track.

'Jhoome Jo Pathaan' is the second song from the upcoming Bollywood movie 'Pathaan'.

'Pathaan', directed by Siddharth Anand, is a part of Aditya Chopra’s ambitious spy universe and the movie also stars John Abraham.
