"Please Let Me...": Shah Rukh Khan's Special Oscars 2023 Request For Ram Charan And 'RRR'

SRK thanked Ram Charan for presenting Telugu trailer of 'Pathaan'.

Shah Rukh Khan is basking in the glory of all the applause that is coming his way ever since the trailer for 'Pathaan' dropped on Tuesday morning. The Telugu trailer of the movie was unveiled by Ram Charan and SRK took to Twitter to thank the 'RRR' star for his special gesture. Shah Rukh Khan is known for his warm replies, and hence it is no surprise that he brought up the campaign of 'RRR' at the Oscars 2023.

Taking to Twitter, SRK wrote: "Thank u so much my Mega Power Star @alwaysramcharan. When ur RRR team brings Oscar to India, please let me touch it!! (Mee RRR team Oscar ni intiki tecchinappudu okkasaari nannu daanini touch cheyyanivvandi! ) Love you."

Ram Charan also replied back, saying: "Of course @iamsrk Sir! The award belongs to Indian Cinema."

Actor Thalapathy Vijay had unveiled the Tamil trailer of 'Pathaan' and SRK also thanked the mega star for his gesture.

"Thank you my friend @actorvijay. You are Thalapathy for this humble reason, let's meet for delicious feast soon. Mikka Nandri Nanba!  Idhanala Dhaan Neenga Thalapathy  koodiya viraivil oru arumaiyana virunthil santhipom. Love you," SRK tweeted.

Talking about 'RRR',  the movie has been shortlisted for its energetic song ‘Naatu Naatu’ for the Oscars and the film has also made it to the Reminder List.

'RRR' is also nominated in two categories at the Golden Globes -- Best Picture-Non English Language and Best Original Song (Naatu Naatu).

‘RRR’, which also stars Jr NTR, Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn, has bagged various international awards including SS Rajamouli’s Best Director award by the New York Film Critics Circle. It also won the Saturn Award for Best International Film.

The National Board of Review named ‘RRR’ as one of its 10 best films of the year. The movie’s music director MM Keeravani recently bagged the Los Angeles Film Critics Association award for best music score.
