'Gaslight' starring Sara Ali Khan will release on Disney+ Hotstar on March 31.

The 'Gaslight' trailer is out and it promises to be a thrilling affair. The Disney+ Hotstar original film stars Sara Ali Khan, Vikrant  Massey, Chitrangda Singh, Akshay Oberoi, and Rahul Dev amongst others. The two-minute-long Gaslight trailer which was unveiled on Tuesday, shows Sara Ali Khan, playing a young paraplegic woman confined to a wheelchair. Then it is shown how she returns to her family's royal household after 15 years. By the turn of the events, she finds out how her estranged father is now missing, and how she goes on a journey to find out more. 

She along with the characters of Chitrangda Singh and Vikrant Massey, try to find out the truth which is buried in a mountain of secrets.

The new Hindi Bollywood movie has been directed by Pavan Kirpalani, who had previously helmed Radhika Apte-starrer 'Phobia'.

Earlier, talking ahead of the 'Gaslight' trailer release, Sara Ali Khan in a statement had said: "It was challenging to get into this role both mentally and physically as she’s a very layered and nuanced character. I hope this film is going to be a thrilling ride for the audience as each scene will keep them at the edge of their seat."

The new Hindi Bollywood movie is a murder mystery with the unraveling of truths of each character which makes it more interesting. Kapil is a complex character. 

The audience will enjoy the new Bollywood movie throughout. I am excited to collaborate with Disney+ Hotstar and hope audiences enjoy this film,” Vikrant Massey had said.

The Bollywood film has been produced by Ramesh Taurani, Tips Films Ltd., and Akshai Puri, 12th Street Entertainment.

'Gaslight' will be releasing on Disney+ Hotstar on March 31.
