'12th Fail' starring Vikrant Massey and Medha Shankr, was released in theatres in October 2023, but fans and celebrities still cannot stop talking about the film. The Hindi movie directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra premiered on Disney+ Hotstar in the last week of December 2023, and ever since its release on the OTT platform, netizens and several Bollywood actors have been going gaga over the classic underdog story. 

In the latest entertainment news, Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan took to his Instagram Stories to praise the film. He called the project as "one of the most beautiful films" he has seen in a "long, long time."

This film has to be one of the most beautiful films I have seen in a long long time, thank you for this. @medhashankr @vidhuvinodchoprafilms @vikrantmassey kya baat hai yaar," Varun Dhawan wrote.

Talking about '12th Fail', the Vidhu Vinod Chopra directorial minted more than Rs 50 crore in India, despite clashing with Kangana Ranaut-starrer 'Tejas'.

The long list of ‘12th Fail’ fans among celebrities, include Kamal Haasan, Hrithik Roshan, Vijay Deverakonda, Rishabh Shetty, Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone, Sanjay Dutt, Farhan Akhtar, Anil Kapoor and Anurag Kashyap, among others.

The 2023 Hindi movie, based on the true story of IPS officer Manoj Kumar Sharma, also starred Anant V Joshi, Anshumaan Pushkar, and Priyanshu Chatterjee. 

‘12th Fail’ tells the real-life story of IPS officer Manoj Kumar Sharma (Vikrant Massey) and his wife-IRS officer, Shraddha Joshi, played by Medha Shankr. 

The 2023 Hindi movie chronicles Manoj's life as a young boy from Chambal, who manages to become an IPS officer after years of hard work and dedication.
