"Shukar Hai": Vicky Kaushal Reveals Katrina Kaif's Reaction To 'Tauba Tauba'
Vicky Kaushal heaved a sigh of relief when Katrina Kaif gave him the ultimate stamp of approval.
Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal is currently winning a lot of praise for his dance moves in 'Bad Newz' song 'Tauba Tauba'. The actor, who was last seen in 'Sam Bahadur', has already received appreciation from the likes of Salman Khan and Hrithik Roshan, and in the latest entertainment news, Vicky Kaushal has revealed that his wife and actress Katrina Kaif also loved his dance moves. In an interview with Film Companion's Anupama Chopra, Vicky Kaushal revealed that he heaved a big sigh of relief when Katrina Kaif gave him the ultimate stamp of approval.
"The biggest relief was when she approved of the song. She was like this is good. And I was like shukar hai," he said.
"She keeps telling me, ‘I know you love to dance. But you are a baraati dancer, and not a trained one’. That’s because I get carried away, and she tells me that is fine in real life, but I need to preserve the energy for the camera," he added.
Speaking further about Katrina's reaction, Vicky said, "This time, she was happy because I held it back in terms of expression, moves and attitude. She was talking on those lines when she said that dancing is good. And she was happier on that front that I kept it cool."

For the unversed, 'Tauba Tauba' was released on July 2, and the song continues to be a favourite on Instagram Reels.
For the unversed, the trailer for 'Bad Newz' was unveiled earlier this month. 'Bad Newz' has been directed by Anand Tiwari, and it has been jointly bankrolled by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Amritpal Singh Bindra and Tiwari.
'Bad Newz' is slated to be released in cinemas on July 19, 2024.
For the unversed, Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal got married in December 2021. The couple had an intimate wedding ceremony in Udaipur, Rajasthan.
Apart from ‘Bad Newz’, Vicky Kaushal will also be seen in ‘Chhava’, alongside Rashmika Mandanna. As of now, the film is slated to release on December 6, 2024, the same day as Allu Arjun and Rashmika’s ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’.
Meanwhile, Katrina Kaif was last seen in ‘Merry Christmas’, alongside Vijay Sethupathi. The actress has not announced her next project yet.
Vicky Kaushal also has Sanjay Leela Bhansali's ‘Love & War’ in the pipeline. The movie also stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
